With lived experience and over 5 years contemporary professional knowledge of working in a Drug & Alcohol rehabilitation Service, Dennis brings a special understanding & unique perspective when working with the challenges that many Aboriginal Families face. "I have a vested interest and keen understanding of urban Aboriginal culture. I grew up with Aboriginal families, they blending into my own and my children are Aboriginal; which is why I am so passionate about the work with SAFSS."

Aboriginal Family Support Worker /
Cultural Camp Facilitator:
Muliyan
Current WWCC
Born on Wiradjuri country with family from Gamilaroi, Muliyan has extensive knowledge of Aboriginal traditional cultural bush craft.
Spending extended periods with Nhuggabarra men he extended his traditional cultural knowledge to include Aboriginal Language.
Later adopted by the Grandad family in Boroloola (Central Australia ) He was priveladged to be taught about the old ways of Aboriginal tribal living, traditional hunting ,gathering, bush foods, bush medicines and traditional Art.
Muliyan brings his immense cultural experience to SAFSS and is a constant reminder of contemporary relevance to traditional Aboriginal Culture. He enriches our cultural camps for Aboriginal children.
